Throwback Thursday: Soccer: The Titans Years

In May, we took a look at the AYSO years. Today, we're throwing it back to some shots from the Titans years.

As you can see, things changed quite a bit in 4 years. When you're on JV, you aren't allowed to stand on picture day (it's on the form somewhere, I'm sure) but when you graduate to varsity they let the fans see your whole body. And if you look like a werewolf, they give you shiny shorts to wear.

In the AYSO years, I was regularly scoring 4 or 5 goals a game. But with guys like Mark Nolte and Joe Eggert on the Titans, I wasn't needed on offense.

So I helped anchor our lock-down defense.

Occasionally, they let me come all the way out to midfield ...

... and dribble the ball.

Yeah, they were some pretty good years.
