Pumpkins, Presents, Pizza and Pie With Grandma

Today is Grandma Steinke's birthday. So we had her over after school, but not before she stopped at Five Below with the kids.

Gracie needed a ukulele so she could sing "Happy Birthday."

Before dinner, she helped the kids get their pumpkins ready for Halloween.

Augie didn't need as much help as Gracie.

Instead of trying to get them to hit the trash can with their guts, I just brought a bucket in from outside.

Augie decided he wanted the Bears logo on his pumpkin.

I helped Gracie draw a face on the front of hers.

And then they cut ...

... until we had a couple of pumpkins for the porch.

Gracie couldn't just go with a regular face on hers. It had to have some pretty eyelashes.

And once we were done eating our pizza pie, we had some actual pie. Happy birthday, grandma.
