Throwback Thursday: Pumpkins

October is here, which means we can start talking about fall. We'll have plenty of Halloween costume photos later, don't worry, but today we're going to check out some pumpkins. These jack-o'-lanterns have pretty standard facial features.

Maybe we just really like the standard jack-o'-lantern look. Or maybe we were trying to match those giant bags of leaves. Do they still sell those things. I'd fill one of those up.

In 1995, we got pretty ambitious with our carving. I remember we had a little help from mom and dad that year. I don't remember why we decided to carve so many.

And lastly, not all pumpkins have to become jack-o'-lanterns. Some can just be decorative. Plus they're a lot easier to pull around in your wagon.
