Artsy Fartsy Friday: Augie's Airplane
Augie's Take: I made an airplane. I made a tubular shape, and I covered the ends with circles. I put an X on the front for the propeller. Then I cut a piece of paper in half. I folded the half in half, then I made a curve for the curve part of the wing. Then I stapled it together. Then I cut a slit (in the tube), and I stapled the top part and taped the bottom. Then I did it again for the other wing.
Dad's Take: This is another one of the kids' construction paper creations. Augie has been working on his armed forces. He already had an army and navy, so he started working on his air force. He made this guy to fit one of his stuffed animals. So far it's his only plane, so hopefully his enemy is poorly prepared for an aerial attack.
