Pioneer Camp

For the first time since Augie started doing Boy Pioneers, we finally made it up to Camp Lor-Ray this weekend for Pioneer Camp. These were our digs for the weekend.

We were there a little early Friday because we had some of the Pioneers gear in our car. So that left some free time right away to do some swimming.

After some dinner and the first leg of our weekend fishing derby, we ended the night with a fire and s'mores.

Saturday was jam packed full of activities, including basketball ...

... kayaking ...

... archery ...

... BB guns ...

... pistols and rifles ...

... tug of war ...

... fire building (and wind blocking) ...

... a scavenger hunt ...

... fishing ...

... and another fire, just for good measure.

This morning was pretty light. Some breakfast, cleaning up around camp and trophies before we all headed back for home.
