Adventures in Cheeseland: Day 3

Today was our third and final day in the Milwaukee area. We teamed up with the Zaks again for a visit to Little Amerricka, a park in Marshall that features restored rides from classic amusement parks. They didn't open until noon, so we packed a lunch, drove out there and ate before we went in.

As soon as we got inside, Gracie wanted to try The Meteor, an old wooden roller coaster. She loved it.

Then we quick hit the carousel before the train made its first run of the day.

I think the train might have been the only reason Jonah wanted to go.

But we all rode it with him, because it was a nice little jaunt. The small diesel drove us past a good chunk of the amusement park, an old west town, geese, llamas, an emu, a cemetery, a campground, open prairie, a waterfall and more. It was a 20-plus-minute ride.

Some of the other attractions we tried out were the bumper boats ...

... the go carts ...

... (even me!) ...

... the kiddie Ferris wheel ...

... boats ...

... planes ...

... golf ...

... and a smaller roller coaster. It was a pretty packed 4.5 hours in the sun.

So we grabbed some grub, and ended the night with a few s'mores by the fire.
