Adventures in Cheeseland: Day 1

This morning, we departed for Wisconsin for the first time since 2015. We are overdue to see a few friends, so we thought this summer might be a good time to see them. We drove for a few hours before visiting an oasis for some lunch. It's always fun to watch the cars drive down the interstate while you eat.

Our initial destination was the Zaks' new house in Brookfield.

The weather wasn't awful, so we spent some time outside before dinner. It's always easier to eat popsicles outside anyway.

Augie made sure to check out the "construction zone" with Jonah. We're going to have to get us one of those.

There wasn't enough table space inside for dinner with all the kids, so we gave them their own table outside on the deck.

Since they ate so well, we even let them have some custard at Oscars after dinner.
