Throwback Thursday: The Christmas Lineup

Last night, Gracie had her Christmas service. This year, they've split up the kids so different grades have been doing their Christmas Eve services on different nights. It helps with social distancing. So, in her honor, today we'll look at Christmas Eves from years past:

Every year, we kids would get dressed up real nice because we'd have to stand up in front of church and speak.

I can't say that I remember it, but apparently it was also a tradition to stand up in front of the tree around Christmastime.

I think it was Tim's goal to give the weirdest face possible. Without the free preview digital cameras give you now, no one would know until you developed the negatives.

It must've been a rule that we had to stand in order, because most of the photos are in this lineup.

Eventually, we got around to wearing suits every year.

Here's a rare photo of us kids out of order. We must've quick shuffled before mom could hit the shutter.

Or maybe Tim and I just got tall enough that we had to start flanking Jen.
