Throwback Thursday: Back to School

Since the kids returned to school yesterday, it must mean it's time for back-to-school pics. Here we are ready to go in 1991 ... except Tim. He wasn't actually old enough for school yet. That's a prop backpack. The jean backpack I'm sporting is still around today. Augie uses it to lug stuff around sometimes.

By 1992, though, Tim was totally old enough to go to school. Check out those snazzy lunch boxes. Why yes, they did come with Thermoses inside.

By 1993, you can see we had a new door to stand in front of. That's because that portion of the house addition was completed.

In 1994, we went with the full matching backpacks. I'm not sure if Tim wasn't happy about that, or he just wasn't awake yet. Maybe it was both.

In 1995 ... well, who knows what happened in 1995. That's a lost year. On to 1996 and more matching backpacks! We had so much stuff to lug to school, they could barely contain it. Maybe next year we can find some matching backpacks for Augie and Gracie.
