I had a few pictures from yesterday that I didn't get around to posting last night, including this one of Augie getting to hold baby sister for the first time. It didn't last very long, but he seemed to like it. He didn't like it when she started crying, though. He started saying "shhh" and covered his ears. It may be a shock to him when she gets home.
Gracie was awake at times yesterday, but slept most of the day away. Late last night, we learned why. She is jaundiced and has to spend some time under the light today. Apparently one of the side effects of jaundice is sleepiness. It's news to me, because we didn't have to deal with it with Augie. I just figured she slept a lot because she was little. You can still see some of the marks on her face in this picture from where the vacuum was attached at one point. I would think those will start clearing up soon.
And we had a few more visitors. Not quite as many as we were expecting, but enough to keep things busy. Gracie didn't mind ... as long as she had a warm body to snuggle with.
