Artsy Fartsy Friday: A Vase

Augie's Take: So, we made a vase (while we were still in school). And we got the vase idea from a piece of paper mom gave us. It was different designs for vases to get us started. It was for art class. So we drew it on a piece of paper, and cut it out, and put it on a piece of construction paper. Then we painted the lines blue. Then we made flowers on the top.

Dad's Take: Art has been a little harder to come by these days with the kids being in homeschooling for the past two weeks. But Mrs. Steinke returned this piece of art with Augie's latest packet of papers, so I thought we'd share it. Overall, the vase has a very delftware feel to it. It's not overly ornate, but that's OK, simple isn't always bad. And it comes with a few pretty flowers, too, which makes it even nicer.
