Artsy Fartsy Friday: Falling Leaves
Augie's Take: It's a tree, stump, log, piece of paper. And leaves. Red, brown and orange. Because it's fall. Some of the leaves are still on the tree. You rake them. That's what we are going to do today, because they are falling off a lot. When all the leaves fall, it's winter.
Dad's Take: This is a seasonably appropriate art project for the preschoolers. Augie used a good mix of colors for his leaves, there are even still a few green ones on there. I'm not sure why all the leaves are square shaped, but all the other kids had square leaves, too, so I won't fault him for that. The cut out of the tree is quite good. I'm not sure if Mrs. Treder pre-cut those or not, but it looks like a tree.
