Artsy Fartsy Friday: Caterpillar

Augie's Take: It's a caterpillar in an egg. It comes out, eat leaves, gets bigger, goes in a chrysalis, comes out a butterfly! Can't think of a name. Made it with a cap, a bottle cap. Made circles. I drawed the legs with a marker. I drawed a stinger.

Dad's Take: This week, Augie came home with last week's caterpillar. I know because I saw it hanging on the wall at the school last week. It's pretty good for a caterpillar. The segments of the body are all attached, it's not in like three separate pieces. The circles are about as uniform as I would expect from a bottle cap dipped in paint. The legs, proportionally, are probably a bit long for a caterpillar, but at least they are pretty straight.
