At school this week, Augie talked about Thanksgiving, of course. He came home yesterday with this feathered friend. I doubt he cut the feathers himself, but the coloring looks like his handiwork. I'm not sure why the one feather has a piece of tape on it. Maybe the turkey hurt his feather, and it's a bandage.
On Saturday, Gretchen and I went looking for a new car, which meant Augie got to spend some time at Grandma Steinke's house with Mikey. While we were gone, they made these alligator hats. Don't ask me why Grandma had alligator hats on hand.
