Throwback Thursday: Dad

Since this weekend is Father's Day, we're going to throw it back to some more old photos of dad. Here he is as a boy dressed in some kind of cowboy outfit.

I'm guessing this all-white outfit was an Easter special. Looks like it was a warm year.

Living life on the edge.

Flash forward a couple decades, and here he is helping Jen open some gifts on her second birthday.

I'm guessing this family photo was for a church directory in 1980. And yes, that's the blue blazer I still wear around sometimes.

This family photo from 1988 was probably taken at K-Mart. Remember when you had to go places to have a family photo taken?

Here's grandpa holding Augie for one of the first times in Portage ...

... and playing with him and Mikey in Portage when he was a little older.

The playing continued after we moved home to Michigan.

Fishing was something he was always eager to teach others.

Because it meant more fish could be brought home.

And at the end of the day, it was never a bad time for a nap.
