Playing Nicely

We've been at home under coronatine for nearly 3 months now. Even though more Michigan businesses started reopening this week, I'm still working from home. At first, it was tough for us to be together all day, every day. We all got on each other's nerves after awhile. But as time wore on, we all got used to being together so much. It just feels natural now being together so much. It wasn't something I was expecting going into lock down. Just the opposite in fact. I thought I'd get sick of working here every day with all the distractions. Now, I think it'll actually be weird going back to the office when the time comes.

I was worried initially about Augie and Gracie not having anyone else to play with. Before this happened, they would play together occasionally, but they probably played with themselves more than each other. Now, it seems like they do everything together. Tonight, Gracie pulled out her princess castle and princesses, and she wanted Augie to play with her. So he grabbed his green Army men and stormed the castle. And they played together nicely. It's no coincidence that a lot of the posts lately have been Augie and Gracie Pictures of the Day. They're just doing a lot together right now.

So if nothing else comes out of coronatine, we've got at least one thing: Augie and Gracie have learned to play together nicely. I guess that makes the last 3 months worth it.
