Sick, But Not 'Sick'

It's been a long week-plus for mom. Memorial Day weekend, she starting feeling sore and sluggish, but she thought it was just from helping me build the deck. The day after Memorial Day, she spent the second half of the day in bed. And there she stayed for several days. We feared she had caught the coronavirus while on coronatine. So when things didn't get any better, we had her tested this week. Surprisingly, she tested negative. Today, the doctor said she has pneumonia. I guess the silver lining in having pneumonia versus the coronavirus is that there was medication they could give her to help her heal. Hopefully, she'll start to turn the corner tomorrow.
