Today was the final day of mom's out-of-town conference. She came home after nap, but there were still things to do before she got here, like coloring after breakfast.
After everyone was dressed, Gracie REALLY wanted to make brownies to welcome mom home.
And Augie was more than willing to help with the mixing. He's really good at hiding the eggshells.
Gracie was having a hard time waiting for them to bake. I'm not so sure she didn't just want the brownies for herself.
So I had her and Augie work on some cards for mom detailing what we did while she was gone. Well, that's what Augie did. Gracie scribbled on her piece of paper, then turned it into confetti. Destruction is how she shows she cares.
While they did that, I got our new moose ready for the weekend.
