The Story Behind the Story of Hair

For this week's newspaper column I wrote about No Shave November. Or really how it's just an excuse for men not to shave for a month. Well this year, I did one better, I haven't shaved since March ... my head anyway. My hair's been growing for 8 months. It started out as not bothering to shave because I wasn't going to be in public for awhile, and turned into "I'll cut my hair when I go back to work full time." That still hasn't happened, so the hair keeps growing. Gretchen said it's getting so long you can put a pony tail in it. So that's what Gracie did before dinner, she put pony tails in it. Don't I look pretty?
