Artsy Fartsy Friday: Rocket Ship

Gracie's Take: I made the top, and then we decorated the top so it looked pretty. And then we had toilet paper rolls to make the engine of the rocket. And then we decorated the paper roll part. And then Mrs. Rabbers cutted this heart to make it fit the top. Then we glued this tissue paper stuff. It's the fire that comes out of it. Psssshhhhhhheeew! The heart was important.

Dad's Take: If this Artsy Fartsy looks familiar, it's because Augie built a rocket ship, too. Gracie's is a bit more girly. It's got pictures and stuff on the engine, but the most important part was the heart on the top of the rocket ship. She was pretty upset that Mrs. Rabbers had to cut a slit in it to make the piece of paper fit on the top of the rocket. You can still tell it's a heart, though, so I'm not sure why she was so upset about it. The rocket still works just fine:
