Artsy Fartsy Friday: Clay Snowman

Gracie's Take: Do you want to build a snowman? So the arms broke, but they used to be on. Then we built a hat. I know it looks so bad. Anyways, we did buttons. I did three. And then we did three snowballs. They are made of clay. Then we did the eyes. Then the nose. I have no idea why we were building snowmen. Then there's a snowman.

Dad's Take: Remember last week when Gracie had an art project at school that she wanted to do for Artsy Fartsy but it wasn't done yet? This is that art project. It's her snowman of clay. Overall, it's good. It has three distinct body parts. It has a nicely shaped carrot-colored nose. There isn't any stray yellow paint on it. The leaf-stem arms came home mostly intact. But that hat ... I'm not sure what she was doing with that hat. It looks more like something Capt. Jack Sparrow would wear than Frosty. But it's a nice green color, so bonus points for that.
