Mom had Academic Day this morning, so Augie, Gracie and I hung out together. Augie started the morning by building this ... whatever it is. I'm pretty sure he's a master builder.
Then it was time for everyone to put on their Cubs hats and head to Lowe's for Build and Grow. Gracie used my back-up Cubs hat. That's right, I have a back-up Cubs hat. You can never be too prepared.
Augie tried it on, too, just in case he needed to borrow it.
But then he put his Cubs hat on, so we could build a monster truck. I told you there would be another monster truck.
When we got home, we spent some time outside playing and doing yard work. Sometimes at the same time. Then it was time for lunch and nap. And then mom came home. So that concluded Saturday With Dad.
