Happy Halloween

It was a busy day for Gracie and Augie, but they were prepared. They each ate 3 pounds of chocolate for breakfast.

Then mom and Gracie went grocery shopping while Augie and I stayed home and carved up a couple of pumpkins.

They were pretty scary looking.

After nap, I got the policeman and the strawberry dressed for a quick trip to my office to get the first round of free candy.

But the strawberry wouldn't keep her hood up, so the policeman had to write her a citation.

When we got back, Grandma, Aunt Jen and the cousins came over to visit. Grandmas are, of course, the most vulnerable to Gracie's cuteness and willing to give in to her candy needs.

It was raining, but that didn't deter the gang from suiting up and walking around the block.

Except for Gracie. She stayed home because she's had a cough this week and we didn't really need it getting any worse.

Grandma offered to share her M&Ms when we got back. Gracie wasn't amused. She ate them, but she wasn't amused.
