Artsy Fartsy Friday: Coat of Many Colors

Augie's Take: It's made of a Meijer bag. And I put a pattern on it, a pattern of Joseph's coat. He loves Joseph most of all his other brothers. And then they throw him into a ditch, and one of his brothers said we shouldn't do that, and then they sell him off to Egyptians. They got a few nickels for giving him to the sellers.

Dad's Take: I thought this was a pretty neat idea for an art project. A Meijer bag has so many uses, and apparently a coat of many colors is one of them. It seemed like Augie remembered most of the story about Joseph. It was getting late when he told me about his project, so he got things a little mixed up, but he seemed to get the jist that Joseph received his coat and was sold off to the Egyptians by his jealous brothers.
