Artsy Fartsy Friday: Baby Moses

Gracie's Take: We colored baby Moses. We cutted the basket. We did long snips. We writted a person, and we glued this on, and we glued this on. Why can't I get baby Moses out? It's glued to the paper! We wrote our name. We could've snipped the basket, but I didn't. There's a line there.

Dad's Take: This project seems like it was pretty straight forward. You've got your blue water. You've got your green reeds. You've got a baby floating in a basket. I imagine the real basket was a little simpler than the one Gracie made. She made sure that pink-and-purple baby boat stood out in the weeds. Maybe I'm wrong. Maybe it was colorful and that's how pharaoh's daughter found it. Or maybe Gracie just likes to use all the crayons in her crayon box.
