Artsy Fartsy Friday: Snake

Gracie's Take: I painted it before I put the tongue on. Then I put the tape on. Then I put more tape on because he says, "One more." The front I just painted and then I put eyes on. Blue and yellow matched my shirt.

Dad's Take: According to the paint-covered sheet of paper on the front of my fridge (and mom), Gracie's class was working with blue and yellow this week and how when you mix them together you get green. I'm guessing that's really why her snake is blue and yellow and green. She was clearly obsessed with the piece of tape that held the tongue on and the other piece of random tape that she stuck to the back. I'm not sure why. I guess she really loves tape.
