Decoding Dadhood the Book: Part 6
Better late than never, right? I usually have the annual edition of the Decoding Dadhood book done by Christmas (Black Friday actually), but this year I got behind. The Etsy store has been keeping me busier and busier, which was part of the problem, but the website I use for the book, Blurb, also updated its book design software (and not for the better). So it was a combination of less time and infuriating software that led to my procrastination. But, for the past few weeks, I've pushed through to get the book done.
This edition covers 2015. Some of the highlights include:
-- A recap of the top five posts, and my five favorite posts, from the blog's first five years.
-- Plenty of Artsy Fartsy art projects.
-- Gracie's first birthday party.
-- Video of Gracie's pre-walking power crawl.
-- A trip to the U.P.
-- Augie goes to a tractor show.
-- A bevy of home improvement projects.
-- The inaugural This Is post (and a few others).
-- Gracie's first haircut.
-- Andy sells the farm.
-- And my 3rd annual online gift guide.
Even though 2015 wasn't my busiest year blogging (that honor goes to 2013's 202 posts), it created the longest of my first six books at 136 pages. I did babble on a bit at times, but it felt like there were a lot of pictures to get in there, too. Oh well. The book is done. Here's hoping Blurb sends out another round of promo codes in the next two weeks.
