Making Garland
It was just Augie and I again this morning, so I decided it was time for another art project -- one many of us did during our grade school days. I got the idea for the simple project from a cartoon I was watching with Augie. (Don't judge me for watching Barney). I found mom's carousel of fancy-cut scissors, but decided against using them when Augie started waving them around like a maniac.
I used her paper cutter and made uniform strips of green and red paper so Augie could make a garland.
He was mostly just goofing around, though...
... so I jumped in and helped with the gluing.
When it was done, we had a beautiful new garland.
We decided to hang it up over the TV with the stockings.
