I am more like...
After five months, it is getting easier to tell the ways in which Augie is like his mommy and the ways Augie is like his daddy. So without further ado, the Top 5 ways Augie is like his mommy:
1) He sleeps...a lot. (And his hair looks the same when he wakes up from a nap as it does when he lays down).
2) He doesn't always listen when dad says something to him.
3) He spills a lot of food on himself.
4) He cries for no reason.
5) He likes to sleep in the car. (Notice how sleeping is a big part of his life).
And the Top 5 ways Augie is like his daddy:
1) He is easily distracted while doing other things. (Ooh bib!)
2) He likes to watch TV. (And doesn't like to give up the remote).
3) He eats a lot.
4) He looks good in a button-up shirt and vest.
5) He enjoys doing things to drive Gretchen crazy.
So there you have it. The Top 10 ways Augie is like his mom and dad. I'm sure I missed a few (and was censored into leaving out a few R rated points), so feel free to leave comments with other ways in which you think Augie is like mom or dad.

Dad says: Where did you learn to count? Is 1,3,4,5 some form of reverse polish notation?
ReplyDeleteWhere is #2 for how like MOM?
You are right. I'm going to have to go back and fix that.
