Throwback Thursday: Live From the U.P.

I've shared several pictures this year from past vacations in Yooperland, but with summer officially ending this weekend, I thought I'd share a couple more. Here I am at 8 1/2 months old checking out Lake of the Clouds with my mom. I must've seen an eagle or something because I wasn't looking at the camera.

Or maybe I was dreaming about fishing.

This was the usual view for fishing on vacation: the boulders at the end of the Bergland pier on Lake Gogebic.

We caught quite a few whoppers out of that lake.

But occasionally we'd venture off to other nearby lakes to see what they had to offer.

And when we were done, we'd be sure to wander into Nordine's to buy one of our annual Lake Gogebic T-shirts or sweaters.
