Late last night and early this morning, snow started falling in Southwest Michigan for the first time this winter. Gracie was ready to try out her new snow pants after breakfast.
Augie was
more ready, though, and beat everyone outside.
Gracie was less happy about having to put on her boots, gloves, hat and coat.
When she fell down, which was often, she couldn't get back up.
So she hung out in the car where it was safe.
Augie, meanwhile, helped mom make snowman parts.
It was a good snow for snowman parts. It's the wet, heavy stuff that I think of when I think of Southwest Michigan snow.
Gracie thought a snowman looked like fun, so she ventured out into the yard.
But she kept falling down, so we went to swing.
Happy first snow of the season!
