Artsy Fartsy Friday: Leaf Art

Augie's Take: It's really colorful. And Mrs. Rabbers and Mr. Rabbers like to go out and find leaves that are really big and we painted some of them. It has holes in it. The leaf did. But they got painted in anyway.

Dad's Take: It sure was nice of Mr. and Mrs. Rabbers to go out and find some leaves for Augie's class to paint. If they were smart, they would have had a "field trip" to Mrs. Rabbers' house to "pick out" some of their very own leaves ... by putting them in big piles and raking them into bags. They sure did miss a chance there. Kids love to rake leaves, as long as they get to jump in the pile when they're done.
