When we were potty training Augie, we told him we would take him on a train ride once he was out of diapers. Well, that hasn't happened yet, so he still talks about train rides a lot. I was hoping to appease him today by taking him for a miniature train ride at Eden Springs Park.
I went on the train, too.
He really enjoyed it. And since we were the only ones there taking rides, the conductor let him sit in the engine when we got back.
And then we went for another ride.
