Throwback Thursday: Baptisms

Baptism is something that has come up often here on Decoding Dadhood. There was Augie's baptism, Gracie's baptism, Titus' baptism, Ryan's baptism and Josh's baptism. Today, we flashback nearly 34 years to Feb. 2, 1986: My baptism. Here I am with my godparents, Elaine Sawatzki (aka Aunt Elaine) and Ken Reschke, one of my dad's friends. I still see my aunt from time to time, but I couldn't tell you the last time I saw Ken. My high school graduation party, maybe? He might have been invited. Either way, here he is next to the kitchen at my parents house. And, bonus, the kitchen used to have saloon doors? That's awesome. It's probably best they took those out before Tim and I got big enough to barrel through them on a regular basis.
