Artsy Fartsy Friday: Gracie's Ornament

Gracie's Take: First thing's first, we painted it. And we painted this purple and these pink, and then put some glitter on the star with glitter glue. Then Mrs. Rabbers did the tree trunk and the thing to put it on the Christmas tree, the string. We should let it dry before we put it in the bin for next year.

Dad's Take: This art project, I'm guessing, was a holdover from before Christmas break. I'm thinking they left it at school to dry over break. A couple of pieces already fell off, though, which is why she's holding it so carefully. So either she didn't use enough glue to hold them on or she used so much paint that it wasn't dry when she went to use her glue. Either way, now we have a bedazzled pink and purple ornament for the Christmas tree next year. Yay!
