Cookies!

Everyone was up early this morning, because they knew what today was: cookie baking day.

Gracie was sidelined, because she probably would have stuck her face in the dough, but Augie was old enough to know what he was doing.

We started with the cutout cookies, because Gretchen always makes a lot of them ... and Augie likes to help make the fun shapes.

Once some of the cutouts were going, Augie and I split off and started unwrapping Kisses for the Peanut Butter Kiss cookies.

Gracie really wanted to get to the chocolate. I know you are all shocked.

So she thought she could climb up on a chair and get to them, but she was mistaken.

I wasn't here for all the cookie making, but trust me, lots of cookies were made. Tomorrow, we decorate.
