A Mother Goose Party

Yesterday afternoon, Augie and the other preschoolers at St. Paul's had their annual program. As you can see, it was a Mother Goose theme this year.

Augie had several rolls to play, including the rain cloud for the "Itsy Bitsy Spider." I suspect his frown was part of the act, because I don't think there is such a thing as a happy rain cloud.

And he played a mean triangle for "Hickory Dickory Dock." He rocked that thing so hard, it fell right off its string. Really.

Fortunately, Gracie woke up from her nap just in time to see the amazing performance. I hear its going to be the new standard for triangle playing at preschool performances in the years to come.

Some of the non-Augie acts included "Humpty Dumpty" ...

... "Jack and Jill" ...

... this laughing dog in "Hey Diddle Diddle" ...

... and a very scared "Little Miss Muffet."

Augie had plenty of people in the crowd to cheer him on, including Aunt Marcie, all three grandparents, mom and dad, and cousin Mikey. I'm not sure what the kindergarteners do for annual performances, but I can't wait to find out next year.
