Artsy Fartsy Friday: Easter Egg

Augie's Take: I colored the chick yellow and the egg blue. The chick doesn't live in the egg. It comes out of the egg after the chicken lays it. And the egg is blue because that's the way Mrs. Rushlow made hers.

Dad's Take:I love Augie's choice of colors (Go Blue!) for his Easter egg. The cutting is a little rough, but fingers can be hard to cut around sometimes, so overall he didn't do a bad job. From the art hanging on the hallway at school, it looks like they made a cross this week, too. Maybe that will come home after spring break.
