A Day in the Life: Snow Day Edition
Yesterday, it snowed like a foot of snowy snow on the snow in our lawn. So today, Augie and Mom had a snow day (obviously), which meant everyone was together ALL DAY LONG. This morning, we took Gracie out to play in the snow for the first time.
Augie wanted to play with us. He had to swim through all the snow to get there.
If it wasn't so bright from all the sun happening, I think Gracie would have liked the snow, too.
After lunch and a quick nap, Gracie was all ready to go for the rest of the day.
Gracie had plenty of toys to play with, but she wanted to look through my Sports Illustrated first. She has good taste. And by look through, I mean tear to shreds.
She did eventually get around to playing with her toys.
Of course, after we got all that snow cleaned up, it started snowing this afternoon.
So Gretchen took a nap.
So did Roscoe. But in his defense, that's what he does all day every day.
Augie took a nap, too, which must have been pretty tiring because he needed a snack when he woke up.
Or maybe he just needed to fuel up for our trip to Target. We picked out some valentines for him to take to school.
Oh yeah, we came back with pizza from Papa Murphy's, too.
The best part about the s'mores pizza? It has oats on it, so it's OK to eat for breakfast. True story.
The s'mores pizza is pretty messy, though, so it required a deep clean afterward.
Augie didn't have any, but he's a smelly boy, so he needed a bath, too.
The minions were happy he was clean.
Before you know it, it was time for books and bedtime. Another busy day in the books.
