Happy Easter
Easter was good to Augie and Gracie this year. Augie probably more so than Gracie because he's old enough to eat candy. Grandma Westerhoven dropped off some stuff for him yesterday so he'd have it right away this morning.
There was a lot of stuff. Too much stuff some might say.
Gracie was a little groggy this morning when we showed her her new rattle. But it matched her jammies.
After Augie pawed through all his new stuff, he got dressed for church. His new tie makes him look like a senator. Am I right?
Gracie wore the pink dress she wore to our recent wedding, but she wouldn't wake up long enough to take a picture with Augie. So here's a picture of her sleeping next to Augie. It's the best I could do.
Then it was off to Grandma Steinke's house for Easter egg hunting with Mikey.
They're still both pretty young, so I was able to keep up and get some good pictures.
I got a little too close and almost got run over.
Found one!
It was a pretty tough job. Good thing there was candy and other fun stuff inside the eggs.
They both found lots of eggs. It didn't really matter who found more because grandma divided it 50-50 anyway.
Mom and the Easter Bunny hid inside while the boys found their bounty.
