It's Day 2 of Staycation 2013: October Edition, and I'm settling in nicely to my life of leisure. Last night, Gretchen, Augie and I went to Texas Corral for some grub and peanuts. Mom ordered half a chicken and I scarfed down a steak and a couple of 75-cent drafts. Augie, predictably, ordered macaroni and cheese. Before it arrived, however, he was having fun with the peanuts on our table. I told him the only way to open them was to smash them with his fist. Of course, this was tiring, so he quickly gave up and drank his L'il Buckaroo chocolate milk.
