Yeah Hey, No Way!

One of Augie's favorite Disney shows is "Jake and the Neverland Pirates." For those of you who don't have kids, it's a show featuring three children pirates who continuously have their things stolen by Captain Hook and Mr. Smee. Augie for some reason has deemed our bed his ship, Bucky. That wedge pillow at the end of the bed serves as his makeshift helm. Pillows, when thrown on the floor, are great islands. Roscoe is a virtual dopplegänger for the show's crocodile, Tick Tock.

His toy hammers make great telescopes ... and paddles, for that matter.

And my back scratcher is a perfect sword. I get to carry the sword because I'm Jake, the team's leader, and he's always Cubby. We don't usually have an Izzy because mom doesn't like playing with us.

If only we could find a treasure chest to put our gold doubloons in, we'd be set.
