Cooling Off

It was another hot one today (92 by my thermometer), so after nap, Augie went outside to cool off.

Somehow he talked mom into joining him. Neither one of them was wearing their bathing suit.

Augie kept telling mom that she had to go first, and he pushed her toward the sprinkler.

So Gretchen made sure Augie went first at least once.

When they were done, I showed Augie how to get the wettest every time he jumped through the sprinkler: Spread his arms and legs out to make sure the water hits him in the most places possible.

Of course, there are other ways to get wet.
