Artsy Fartsy Friday: Elephants

Augie's Take: They have ears. And a trunk. And I made it. When it rains they go in a big pool. They cool off with their ears. They swim, and the little ones have to practice. When they are little, they have to learn how to get up. The little ones drink milk. And that's probably all.

Dad's Take: I really like the hat Augie made at school. The ears are nice and big like an elephant's should be, and the cutting is quite good. The trunk seems a bit high up on the face, but it's hard to say that with certainty because there are no eyes or a mouth. It's probably because Augie had to tell the teachers all about elephants while he was working on his hat instead of just working on it. He obviously knows quite a bit about elephants.
