Artsy Fartsy Friday: Augie's Aquarium

Augie's Take: Fish. It is made out of some pebbles there for rocks. And some seaweed in the middle of the tank. It's an aquarium, or a fish tank. That's all.

Dad's Take: I like the general idea of this art project. It's simple. It's 3-D. And who doesn't like fish? These projects were hanging on the wall at the school, and some of the kids had whole tanks full of fish. Augie was more practical. Having only three goldfish in such a small aquarium, they would live happier lives with all that extra space (and they'd be cheaper to feed). It's a little hard to tell from this picture, but there is "seaweed" in the middle of the aquarium. He used a green colored pencil and drew a few squiggly lines in there. Although, I'm not sure how seaweed got into his fish tank.
