I managed to get a three-day weekend this week. Here's a quick recap of some of the things that have been going on. On Saturday, mom went shopping with grandma, so the kids and I chilled at home. The kids are quite a bit calmer when mom's not around. I'm not sure why.
Or at least they were calm until Augie's cleats and shinguards came in the mail. He's got soccer camp in a couple of weeks, so he had to be prepared.
Gracie doesn't have soccer camp, so she didn't get any cleats. But that didn't stop her from trying to find some. She went and grabbed Cubsy (my Build a Bear) and stole one of his cleats. She's so small they almost fit.
On Sunday, we did haircuts. Augie was getting tired of the standard buzz cut, so we gave him the military buzz cut. Now he's cooler and ready to wage wars with little sister.
For snack today, the kids had some Fruit By The Foot.
I mean, who doesn't like Fruit By The Foot.
Tonight, we went over to a friend's house for a small get together. Gracie was enamored with feeding the cows.
She felt so at home on the range she didn't want to come home.
