Augie Goes to a Tractor Show
This morning, Augie, grandpa and I headed to South Haven to check out the annual Antique Engine and Tractor Show. It was bigger than I expected, so it's a good thing grandpa brought his "puddle jumper."
When we got there, Augie wanted to find the tractor pull.
So we found the tractor pull.
There were lots of tractors to look at, as you might expect, big and small, old and new, wheeled and wheel-less.
There were lots of other vehicles and contraptions to check out, too.
If it was weird, and had wheels, it was there.
Other things were going on, too. They had the sawmill going full blast.
And the blacksmith was busy making tiny swords for people to buy.
We were driving around and grandpa saw this truck for sale. He had to get out and inspect it. He probably didn't buy it. He was talking to a guy, so I can't say for sure.
Everyone had to stop and gawk at this big old tractor. It was built in LaPorte. I bet it never left the area.
Shortly after we took a corn dog break, it was time to head home for a nap.
