Christmas Came Early

Today, we had Christmas for Gretchen's side of the family at our house. But first mom had to finish making the last of the Christmas cookies. Augie was in charge of peeling the Kisses.

When everyone got here, we started with gifts. Because why not? Grandma, for some reason, wrapped everything separately, so Gracie had a huge mound of presents.

Don't worry, she made it out alive.

She even got this neat "iPhone." Augie was nice enough to model it for me.

Other people got presents, too.

Even this guy. He was pretty stoked about it.

Augie got this working dump truck. He had to get his blocks out so he could dump them on the floor.

Aunt Marcie kept complaining about my picture taking. So this terrible picture is for her.

After dinner, mom made everyone help decorate the 57 dozen cutout cookies she made (give or take). I was Chief in Charge of Eating Broken Cookies. I earned a Bronze Star for my hard work.

Augie was in charge of sprinkles. Some of the cookies had a lot of sprinkles.
