Early American Day

On Sunday afternoon, Augie and mom had a special "Early American Day" at Augie's school. The 4-year-old preschoolers and the early fives preschoolers met in the school cafeteria to do some fun projects about pilgrims and Native Americans with their moms. As you can see, the students appeared to be the pilgrims while the moms appeared to be the Native Americans. Augie made this cool vest out of an old grocery bag. The front was decorated nicely ...

... but on the back there was a monster truck. Something tells me there weren't monster trucks in the 1600s, but maybe I'm wrong.
