Our Not So Big Girl

Gracie had her 6-month-old appointment yesterday afternoon, and the doctor told Gretchen what we already knew: Gracie is small, except for her head.

She measured 25.25 inches -- good enough for the 21st percentile. She weighed only 13 pounds, 14.5 ounces -- in the 11th percentile. And her head circumference was 17.32 inches -- in the 91st percentile. It appears that she, like Augie, got those big German head genes.

Gretchen said the doctor didn't seem too concerned about her weight since she has gained weight ever time she has visited the office.

In other health-related issues, her reflux seems to be doing better, to the point that we can wean her off her meds. Not a big surprise there since she doesn't seem too unhappy when she misses a dose every once in awhile. And she has four teeth poking through (the four good ones) that we can see.

She's growing up fast. It won't be long before she's walking and talking.
